About Emeryville Neighbors United

Emeryville Neighbors United is a volunteer-led coalition of Emeryville and Oakland residents dedicated to protecting neighborhood livability, public safety, environmental quality, and transparent local decision-making. The organization formed in response to Sutter Health's medical campus proposal.

Where We Stand

ENU is opposed to Sutter's current plan. It is committed to keeping Emeryville and surrounding communities livable and safe, with streets that allow people to walk, bike, use transit, and drive safely and reliably. Any development at the site must provide meaningful community benefits while fully addressing the public costs and burdens it would place on residents. Sutter must be honest and transparent about its plans, and the City and community must hold it accountable.
